Mira Health, a service of Mira Technologies, Inc., sends text messages on behalf of the medical practices that use our platform. Patients receive transactional messages about their care, such as appointment confirmations and reminders, links to complete intake or pre-visit forms, and notices that their care team has sent them a secure message. Clinical staff at subscribing practices may receive notices of new messages from colleagues. We do not send marketing or promotional messages.
Patients opt in by checking an unchecked-by-default text-message consent box on their practice's intake form, or by giving consent directly to their practice. Clinical staff opt in by adding their mobile number and turning on text notifications in their account settings. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving care or of purchasing any goods or services.
Message frequency varies with your appointments, forms and care-team activity. Most patients receive a few messages per visit.
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. Mira Health does not charge for text messages.
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will receive one confirmation message and no further messages. You can also ask your practice to stop texting you. To start receiving messages again, reply START.

Text messaging is not a secure channel. We keep medical details out of text messages; to read anything sensitive, you sign in to your practice's secure portal. Do not use text messages for medical emergencies. In an emergency, call 911.
We use your mobile number only to send the messages described here. Mobile numbers and text-message consent are not shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy at mirahealth.care/privacy.
Supported carriers include major U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
